The house comfortably sleeps up to 17 guests, 19 if you are happy to utilise a sofa bed in the upstairs hallway, making it the perfect place for gatherings with family or friends and not forgetting a special celebration.

 

About the House

Malvern Retreat is a magnificent Tudor timbered masterpiece that is both elegant and spacious.

From crystal chandeliers, to sumptuous velvet sofas, to roaring log fires in the winter this beautiful house has it all offering comfort and relaxation in abundance.

It boasts a fully equipped kitchen and a private chef can be organised for your stay if you wish. There is a formal dining room which seats up to twenty with spectacular views of the garden.

There are two spacious lounge areas.  The first is a large living room that is considerately configured around a beautiful feature fireplace, a perfect place to unwind and spend time with loved ones discussing the day’s adventures.

The second is a more intimate living room, again with a feature fireplace and a number of sofas to relax on.

Bedrooms

• Four king size rooms

• One is a double

• One is a single utilising a pull-out day bed. 

• Some of the bedrooms have the additional benefit of sofa beds, particularly useful for families.  A complete guide to all of the bedroom configurations can be provided if you require this.

 

Gardens

This exceptional residence offers 11 acres of spectacular gardens with an abundance of wildlife and even boasts its own private lake. 

There are panoramic views of the Malvern Hills, the lake and the neighbouring vineyard.

A number of double doors to the rear of the house lead to an enormous outdoor dining area where you will find a fabulous teak dining table, which can seat up to 20 people comfortably.

The several terraces and decked areas offer plenty of space to relax or even find a tranquil corner away from it all if you need it.

The landscape here is magnificent and offers a wonderful opportunity for artists or photographers to let their creativity run wild.  You will never tire of the beauty of it all.

 

Leisure

For those that enjoy a spot of fishing, the well-stocked lake has a number of pegs and is an ideal place to switch off and while away a few hours, so be sure to bring your rod. Why not go wild swimming in the lake or take paddle board lessons on it, something that we can arrange for you. The lake also offers a place to unwind and watch the sun go down as it has it's own patio area complete with a BBQ and fire pit.

If you are looking for something a little more energetic, grab your racket and head off to the private tennis courts.

Afterwards grab your champagne flutes and relax in the fabulous, large hot tub, found at the decking area festooned with tranquil lighting.  The hot tub has integrated bluetooth speaker and soothing massage settings to give the ultimate spa feel.
