In the north of England, the Yorkshire Dales National Park has stunning scenery and is situated in fine countryside near Richmond. The area has lots to offer including attractions for families, pretty towns to explore and plenty of walking trails for the explorers.

The Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside are among the best-known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Every year thousands come to reach the top of at least one or to conquer all three in one go.

Richmond, being the closest main town to Marske, sits just outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is one of the most beautiful architecturally rich towns in the north of England. Richmond castle sits high on a cliff above the River Swale, the old town surrounds the castle and just behind is the town’s cobbled marketplace.
